Tysons Corner, VA – There’s a new telecommunications company in town.
Scheer Partners Inc., a leading provider of commercial real estate services in the greater Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas, announces today that it has negotiated a new lease in Tysons Corner for World Telecom Exchange Communications LLC.
World Telecom Exchange Communications (WTXC) is a 100-percent owned subsidiary of Worldwide Telecom Xchange Carrier FZ LLC, a Dubai-based company that invests in telecommunications in emerging markets – including aggregating wholesale telephony and data traffic, and network services – primarily between the United States, Africa and the Middle East.
WTXC opened its new headquarters at 8201 Greensboro Drive last month.
Ben Heller, a commercial leasing broker with Scheer Partners, says, “We evaluated a handful of locations in McLean and Vienna with WTXC, deciding on 8201 Greensboro Drive for several reasons, such as good lease terms, space in a high-profile building with a lot of offices, parking availability, and access to nearby restaurants, retailers and other amenities in the bustling Tysons Corner area.”
Mike Norris, LEED AP, a vice president with Scheer Partners, adds that WTXC’s funding and new facility are both positive signs for the Washington area economy.
“WTXC’s success illustrates that our region remains a great place to start and grow a business, and the commercial real estate market is yielding opportunities for business owners that haven’t existed since the early part of the decade,” Norris says.
WTXC is a network services company offering a full engineering, sales and marketing, billing and technical support outsourcing package that allows telecom start-ups to establish their operations and focus on business development.
Among WTXC’s services are call routing, satellite services, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), TDM network, code division multiple access (CDMA), WiMax, and network management outsourcing.
