Perry Berman’s past roles include serving for five years as the in-house planning consultant for law firm Holland & Knight. He was also chief of the community planning division at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Over his 28-year career, he worked on many of the county’s planning initiatives.
Mr. Berman earned a Master’s Degree in public administration and urban planning from New York University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in history and political science from Queens College in New York.
Currently, Mr. Berman also runs Elkridge, MD-based Berman Ventures, where he serves as a land-use consultant assisting property owners, developers and public-sector agencies in a variety of development, master planning and transportation issues in Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel counties.
