Scheer Partners Plays Key Role in Completion of Two Leases that Bring Wheaton Building to Full Occupancy

Wheaton, MD – A more than 53,000-square-foot building in Wheaton is now 100 percent leased.

Scheer Partners, the leading provider of fully integrated commercial real estate services in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas, announces today that it has represented the landlord of Lakewood at Georgia Ave. in the execution of two leases that take the 53,330-square-foot building at 11510 Georgia Ave. to 100 percent occupancy.

Maryland Injury Associates, for one, signed a five-year, 930-square-foot lease for a suite that remained on the market for less than a month. The new Wheaton space is a satellite location for the chiropractic firm.

Secondly, Environmental & Turf Services (ETS) has relocated from 11141 Georgia Ave., also in Wheaton, to Lakewood at Georgia Ave., where it inked a five-year, 1,723-square-foot lease. ETS specializes in risk assessment and risk management of water-quality impacts by heavy metals, nutrients and pesticides.

Jamie Rash, an associate with Scheer Partners, negotiated these two deals on behalf of 11510 Georgia Ave.’s landlord, which is a small, family owned entity.

“We’re extremely pleased to have assisted our client in obtaining two additional tenants for Lakewood at Georgia Ave. that bring this property to full occupancy,” Rash says. “The owner’s willingness to offer turn-key build-outs played a critical role in securing both groups.”

Roughly a year ago, Scheer Partners took over the marketing responsibilites for 11510 Georgia Ave., and the Rockville-based company also handles the building’s property-management services.
